Skateboards that are suitable for kids:
The Mini
The Mini is the real thing in a small package. It's a ripper little board for younger kids to get going on and its small platform makes it very easy to carry and travel with.
The mini is equipped with 6" reverse kingpin longboard trucks. The riding style is like a small version of a longboard. This makes it a very sophisticated board that turns easily but it's not the right board for a budding pool or ramp ripper.
Young skaters with plans for skate tricks and riding in a skate park should go for the Snake.
The Snake
The Snake is a standard double-kick design. It's nice and stable which makes it a great starter board. Very easy to get going on.
It's actually a modern trick board that experienced skaters rip on but the stable platform makes it an ideal choice for beginners too. Very easy to get going on.
Kids looking for a regular sized skateboard will also find the Poolside 32" easy to ride.
Longboards for kids
Kids can have a heap of fun on mid-sized longboards between 34 to 38"
The Cruiser is a mid-sized longboard that makes an excellent choice for beginner and intermediate skaters.
Another suitable choice is the Fish 36"
