The benefit of Dropthrough deck designs is that the lower centre of gravity gives you stability at speed and allows you to exert more sideways force through the wheels resulting in more control.

* The traditional dropthrough design is aimed at downhill skating. Racing, slalom, bombing hills and carving. The Vault 40” brings a modern innovative spin to the classic Dropthrough deck by throwing in a slight upturn in the nose and a killer concave to lock your feet into.

* The Dropthrough is designed to be the ultimate free ride board and the wedge shape allows for huge wheels with no bite to carve those hills and pavements.

* The result is an awesome all-round performer that gives you the stability and speed performance of a specialist downhill longboard with the turning ability of a carver longboard.

Pretty stoked with this board, delivery was fast and made it the day before christmas. I like how low it is, makes it easy to push, really chilled balance as well. she turns fine but you can kick it up a notch by loosening trucks at the expense of stability. Great for its price. beautiful on some smooth hills by night, just no effort and perfect speed

Wow - great board. This is my 4th longboard (second from skateboard Express) and by far the best. It's low, fast and stable. If I could only own one board this would be it. Unreal price and service also. Highly recomend. +++

Awesome board. I have a loaded dervish also, this is a very close second. Loosen the trucks a little and this board rips it. Great value and great board

I'm loving this board. It carves beautifully and is super smooth around tigh corners. 10 out of 10 form me. I can't wait to take it to the hills

This is my first vault board and i'm very impressed. This things sticks to the road like glue and is very easy to ride. You would pay $350 to 400 for a board like this in a skate shop. amazing value.

I've had this board now for about a month and I'm loving it. It's fast and carves surprisingly well for its size.
