Is the 39
It is a similar design to the 40 Dropthrough and uses Vault hardware. It has no cut-outs for the trucks so it sits a little higher than the Dropthrough. It works on the same principle as the Dropthrough and there’s little difference except for the 12mm in height. So yes, it can carve well and slide (once the wheels are worn in) and bomb hills at reasonable speed as it is a stiff board with slight upturn at the front which keeps the rear trucks at lower angle for extra stability stability.
For a normal longboard rider like myself would you recommend this board, as I am just looking for something to skate, slide a little on??
Yes, it’s a good general set up that will handle downhill, carving etc The 78a wheels will slide better once they wear in a bit or get some 83A wheels as well for instant slides.
