Bought this for for my 14 yo son for his 14th birthday present. It is a great board with high quality bearing. It is a magnificent crusing board, with great stability and it is quick. Quality product, great service.

this is a good looking board and perfect for cruising. very stable, awesome flex and turns so easy. I'm skating 2km's to work each day with ease and style.
There are plenty of skateboard sites in the world and it was awesome to find an Australian site, with board styles i like in long lengths, as well as a 1 stop shop for parts and accessories + good pricing.
I ordered boxing day and received it 4th Jan in Darwin and rail line is out from cyclone - ice coffee doesn't get here that quick! great business model.
Eyeing off the komodo or malibu now.

This was by far the best present i have ever gotten, it runs so smooth down steep hills and is the ultimate cruising board. I suggest everyone interested in buying it.. BUY IT you will not be disappointed

This is my first board and I've had it for about 4 months now. It was great as a starter and I have so much fun taking it out on big rides. It's nice and stable at speed, so when you're hitting big hills it doesn't feel like you're about to die at any second.
Great price for a great board! Highly recommended.

This is my first longboard, I'm a total newbie...and I can ride it no worries. I'm quite a tall guy too and I have no problems riding it. Great value for money too considering most other options were twice the price.

Just got this board today. Only took three days to get to me in Ocean Grove, Victoria. Super fast shipping. I just wanted something to cruise with on the streets and board walk at the beach. I'm 34 and am a total beginner and I was so surprised how smooth and easy a ride it is. Thx so much for posting all of the great reviews which helped me select this board. They were all spot on.

Got my pintail 46" inside 5 business days (over new year's) and in the midst of all the rain in Qld and Brisbane. Have just started riding it as much as I can and loving it so far. I wanted to lower the C of G so retro-fitted thinner riser pads (Pig Piles), and it has no problems with wheel bite.

I'm still a noob at longboarding but am keen to get it sliding and get some skills! I'd recommend this board to anyone, young or - like me - a bit older!

This has got to be the best board - if and only if - you change those rock hard stock bushings to khiro 78a bushings. doesn't cost much to modify that - just $14. Vault + Khiros = CARVE HEAVEN.

I unfortunately lost a Sector 9, however, I have not gone backwards at all with my new Vault Pintail!!! It's fast reponsive and smooth!!! It also is sturdy enough to handle the bumps in cracks in China's roads. Cheers Vault team - I love this deck and its saving me heaps of time getting around and exploring Shenzhen.

The board is Awesome. It is super smooth, really responsive and comfy to ride and looks great. It took four days to arrive and I cant keep myself off of it. I highly reccomend getting your hands on one. :)

Wow Great Board got it today in the post only took 4 days and i live nowhere near syd raining today so i dont want to take it out till it drys up but have given it a ride on the floor boards inside and it goes great super responsive and smooth goes like a dream ! looks great also

This board is narly! I fully recommend you get yourself one of these! Its fast. Its awesome for carving. And it looks great! Skateboard Express had it on my door step within 48 hours of ordering. Excellent service and after sales follow up.

this is my first long board and it is so good. all my mates have been gettin longboards and they all like mine the best oh and plus im twice as fast as them.
one downside i had a stack the other day and craked the nose open. was very sad. hope to try and fix it soon.
other than that best board ever!

I haven't skate for the last 25+yrs and when I saw this board in real life for the 1st time I thought Im in a heap of trouble..but as soon as I ride it..memories all came back as a teen...
Easy to ride even my 7 yr old son is into it now..I'll be geeting another board for him because this one is mine!!! all mine!!

Its got great turning and very stylish, my mate went and got another board from this site just to be different and we went cruising down St Kilda beach on the board walk we were turning heads ;)

Picked up the 46" Vault Pintail the other day and was itchin to give it a whirl as soon as I walked out of the Post Office. The board didn't let me down and I love the flex as it pushes hard out of turns. Good speed and easy to ride and is one of the best "Sunday Cruisin" boards I've been on. Do yourself a favour and grab one of these!

I was looking for a first time longboard and found this, took three days to get here, and it was a fantastic ride. i ride it almost every day everywhere i go. flex is perfect-no stiff. the wheels, bearings and trucks are great together. I wasn't disappointed in anyway when i got this board- perfect height, perfect size and perfect length. GREAT board, recommend for beginners or the experienced.

Have had the pintail now for just over a week and am loving it. Have bought the dog a harness and we cruise along the esplenade.The board is very responsive and picks up speed with ease. I haven't skated for nearly 20 years and am now heading out on a daily basis. Stoked!

Unreal board guys and quick as delivery! ordered it Monday arvo, got it Wednesday morning, unwrapped it and started skating. Best fun, great quality and great value! Hi i have 13 longboards. This was my first. I learn to pump the longboard very far about 30km on the bike trails. Jack up the front truck by 15 degrees with roughly 2 of the angled riser plates, and make the back neutral or buy/ use some khiro or whatever make ya own. Setting these front trucks at this fwd pitch angle is amazing. They are very similiar to randal trucks although not at all. They have a great feel and I have bought these trucks outright. The deck itself is actually amazing. I weigh 97 Kg and it flexes my ass fwd with some funky tunes on the pod. Anyone serious in LDP setups email me at grogga1bc@yahoo.com

I had absolutely no experience on a skate/long board whatsoever, but within 2 weeks of gettin my pintail I was ridin pretty well! Its amazingly fun and easy on first-timers. Also communication with sales dept was GREAT! Thanks guys for the very prompt update on my order status when I asked for it; and yea I could even track my orders online! A++++ site!

The board was a little slow to arrive, but when it arrived it was awesome. carves well and grips to your feet. The board rolls well and goes over most things in its path, srrived with a small scratch on the bottom of the deck but i informed the people at skateboard express and they are sending me out a free set of bearings, great customer service would buy from them again.

Quick delivery once again from skateboard express. Purchased as a gift but had a chance to put it through its paces. This board is everything I expected and more. Wheels stick like glue when you carve hard. Reverse kings are just what you need on a big board like this if you need to wash off speed in a hurry (whose idea was it to have cars on the road anyway?). Highly recommended for anyone wanting to hit some decent hills.

Got my pintail about 2 weeks ago now and its amazing. Easy to push, big enough to cruise around on but light enough to be able to carry it when needed. Also really fast and smooth ride, gathers momentum very quickly. Very happy with the board, thanks.

Just got my Pintail and I love it! I spent ages searching for the perfect board, and finally chose this one - great price, cool design and good wheels, size, etc - it rides so nicely, extremely smooth! There was a bit of a delay getting the board, but I was kept up to date about what was happening from friendly and helpful staff, so no worries there.

Love it! Carves beautifully, rides smooth. I've found it turns sharp enough to negotiate sidewalks, but it's most fun to use the whole road! I'm much better on this board than my girl friends fibremix.

I bought this for my 47 year old hubby to ride along with our 8 year old daughter on her pintail 47". He loves it, great ride & super responsive. I have now had this board for almost a year (since 25 Dec 2008) and still I have not gotten over it. From 48km day rides to serious sliding sessions, this board does it all. I still have not needed to replace anything, although the bearings are pretty worn out from countless rides in the rain. The griptape performs like it is brand new and the wheels have only lost about 2mm from their original shape. No flat spots whatsoever and no bent hangers either! This has been the best staring board ever, I have been through alot with this board, and I have had countless comments on how good value it is. Buy one of these beauties, go skate with your mates every weekend and enjoy the ride I know I did.

My first longboard, what a beast! I now have 5!! Carves like a dream, concave is great, really locks your feet on the deck. Very stable ride with a wide stance or get up the front and rip along. You can slide the 46 as well, once you wear the wheels in a little. The bearings roll really well, fast actually. If you want to get into longboarding on a stylish, functional and wicked value board make this arrow your first instalment in the quiver...

shes got a good length about 'er really smooth, and mate the other day im cruisin down the road (i was a but tipsy) so anyway i bailed i go one way board goes the other, she hets run over by a car! sqaure in the center aswell, it rolled back my way i take a look at her and shes fine!

This is an awesome board. I have had it for about a month now and I just don't get sick of it. My friends have other Sector 9 boards and are pretty jealous. Not only does mine look better, it also rides better as well. These new green wheels take this board to a whole new level. They are really, really fast and grippy but the downside to this is that they are not the best wheels to slide on. Sure you can still do it but wait until they are worn in, although you will not get the slide that harder wheels offer. My advice would be to get some harder wheels if you are serious about sliding.

Which would be better for a beginner, the Pin 46 or Malibu ?

Just got the board and am wondering whether i need to loosen the trucks heaps to get carving, or whether it will just take time for me to learn with semi-loosened trucks
