  • The Vault 32” Slalom is a short and super-light longboard suited to snappy turns, all-round carving and slalom riding.
  • With longboard skateboards, length gives you more power when carving at the cost of stability at speed and trick control. Go for a shorter board like this when you want to maximise turning performance.
  • The combination of 6” reverse kingpins, short wheelbase, super-fast Abec-7 bearings and soft grippy wheels  make this board ideal for longboarders who are into pulling lots of tricks and tight turns.

Specifications:

  • 7 Ply Canadian Maple Deck
  • Length 32” / 812mm
  • Wide Point 8.75” / 222mm
  • Vault 6” 50 degree Reverse Kingpin Trucks
  • Yellow soft 83A bushings
  • 4mm riser pads
  • Vault Abec-7 Bearings red & nylon cage
  • 70mm x 51mm 78A Duro Wheels clear/red

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Show All | Hide All

do you have to be heavy to be able to turn this board, or over time do the trucks loosen and its easy to ride ?

The trucks do loosen but you can also do this yourself by loosening the Kingpin bolt. Just be aware when you loosen the bolt -do not loosen too much for the bolt to come off and the more you loosen the bolt, the more the trucks will turn but the greater the chance of speed wobbles, so if you're going downhill fast - tighten the trucks to prevent speed wobbles.

Does the Slalom have a kicktail ?

It has a very small kicktail.

hi i just want to know how fast this board would go?

There is no certain speed we can give as that is up to the individual and how you sets and tune the trucks etc and the experience of the rider.

This board is really good for cruising around, but it suffers a bit downhill once the trucks are loosened. overall its great, great price, shipping time, and quality, I've really enjoyed this, fairly easy to carry around too

sweet board, first ive owned and been easy to use, figured out what speed wobble was pretty soon, but tightening the trucks compensated for my lack of experience nicely. great board for the price

This is actually a great board... for the average care free rider who footbrakes down hills and just uses this to fit in the crowd. however if u really want the most out of this board u should take of the risers and chuck on some 83a sliding wheels. the trucks are really good, in the way that they can tighten so much as to become a downhill board all they way to so loose that it becomes a carving freeride board. personally i steer more to the loose side for some extreme racing. (which leads me to the piont that this board is the perfect urban racer if u like racing your friends at parks with tight paths or at the city with many obstacles) the wheels are actually exellent! because of their rounded edge, they have enough grip to never slide out unless intended, however if you want to u can slide them out to brake, which effectively means it can turn sharp and brake at high speeds! and yea the bearings are good too, but if u like freeriding u should chuck on some abec 9's or ceramics. hope this helps, and thanks skateboard express, for the awesome board! (but really, the risers are uneccasary)

2 days shipping which is a plus.
This board is good for carving but not so well downhill. Its stock wheels are no good either. Soft good for carving which is probably the point of this board, but i would rather slide, so the wheels DO slide, but not as well.
the tiny little kick at the end is also a plus, nice for manuals and shuv its and pivots. The bushings arent that good either.
Good board, i dont regret buying this board, but I wouldnt buy it again. But then again its got a great price

Overall a nice board though you might want to change the bushings to 78a or 80a. Because the stock bushings feel like 90a+ which would effect carving and turns.

These wheels are not designed for sliding either. If you want sliding wheels get the vault 83a wheels with the rounded edge.
Good service

i bought this board and it came within the 5 days and i am so happy with this if your pretty light then all you do is just losen the trucks and then it carves like a beast. wheels are soft you can carve as hard as you want and it holds it cruising down hills going abt 30 km/h and i havent got speed wobbles yet even though how the trucks are but i guess it all depends on how tight or lose your trucks are.

I was the winner of this board :P
Replace the risers with hard wedged ones, and put some super squishy bushings in the trucks and this board carves harder then anything I've ever set foot on. Wheels are fine for cruising and basic carving, but for a better ride get better wheels.

Wheels literally melt when sliding, otherwise a very fun board. Swapping the stock wheels for better quality larger 75mm wheels brought this board to life: tight fast carving and super fun to slide.

This board is great, I've had it for almost a month and ride it every day im going to very soon get sliding wheels for it and just a thing to Jack Shepherdson you have to loosen the trucks for it to turn man. But yeah overall great board I would highly recommend it :)Plus another thing the bearings are great very fast, Just an improvement would be the wheels if sliding ones were included this would be the best board out there for this price.

Great board. I was worried before it got sent to me that it would be bad but turned out it was great. Loosened trucks and it is perfect. My mate just bought a sector 9 board for $250, mine is exactly the same except 100 dollars cheaper haha. Great board to buy.

I was a little worried about getting this board, but it is amazing! Whether you are bombing hills, carving, or cruising, it's definately up to the task! The board keeps up with more expensive brands, and the truck/wheel/bearing package is great. Was completely stable while bombing hills at 60km/h. Can recommend this board to anyone! Top quality.

Top quality, good ride, tracks were a bit stiff but nothing a little wear won't fix. Bearings and soft wheels are great, all round good cruiser board. Definitely on par with Sector and Arbor boards, however their designs are better.

For what I was looking for this board is perfect. It handles speed and when put under and a bit of pressure handles beautifully. Footing adjustments may need to be made to better suit the shape and set of the board bu on the whole and excelent board!!

This board is fantastic for such a cheap price. The big soft 78A 70mm wheels roll over anything making for a smooth ride all the time. The trucks have a tight turning circle and are perfect for some intense carving. After the wheels have been worn in, the board can also slide. Overall this board is great and it beats many other boards out there for a much cheaper price!!!
